Less searching.
A clearer purchase moment.
LOTSFÅGEL scented candle. A proposed purchase flow that brings decision details closer to the action, then keeps that action available while exploring.

Bring the answer
to the action.
A shopper should be able to find the scent, advertised burn duration, and container type near the purchase controls. When browsing imagery, a compact purchase summary can reduce the need to return to the top.
Two changes. Two hypotheses.
Place vanilla scent, 20-hour advertised duration, and glass container information beside purchase controls. Hypothesis: shoppers can resolve basic product questions with less searching.
Keep product identity and the purchase action available during scrolling. Hypothesis: interested shoppers can resume the purchase flow without losing their place.
Both appear in this animated concept. Test them separately before attributing any effect to a specific change.
From page to proposal.

Recreated baseline: product imagery and purchase information at the original page position.
See the interaction unfold.

A design hypothesis,
ready to be tested.
| Variant | Change | Primary outcome | Diagnostic checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Control | Current production page | Completed purchases / eligible visitor | Device mix, traffic source, baseline behavior |
| A | Facts beside purchase controls | Completed purchases / eligible visitor | Add-to-cart rate; time to locate key facts in a usability task |
| B | Persistent purchase summary only | Completed purchases / eligible visitor | Sticky CTA usage; accidental clicks; checkout abandonment |
Assign visitors consistently, choose the minimum effect and sample size from actual baseline traffic, and define the stopping rule before launch. Monitor layout shift, performance, and purchase errors. This portfolio does not report an experiment result.
Evidence and fidelity
The original study used the IKEA Mexico listing, official product photos, and browser observations. This is an authored visual recreation, not a pixel-exact capture or deployed storefront. The displayed price and availability are historical observations, not a current offer.

Validate the facts and purchase states on the live storefront, build an accessible responsive implementation, test keyboard and mobile behavior, then instrument and run the separate experiments. The animation demonstrates an interaction idea; it does not implement the checkout.
